For our memories of UBC Summer 2001,

I hope these pictures always remind us of uncountable precious experiences. As an escort professor from Komazawa University, I'd been standing by at the residence on UBC campus for a chance to help students from Komazawa as a rescue party.

Several things happened during the stay, however, I am now relieved that those things didn't grow a serious matter. Somewhat bitter happenings already turn into our unforgettable dear memories. Even the names of Stanley Park, Bowen Island, Capillano Suspension Bridge, Granville Island, Canadian Rockies, Victoria Island and SUB cause a lump to rise in our throats.

In this personal web site, let me express and leave our sincere appreciation to Jerry, Kirstain, and Nica for their constant and generous contributions to us all. And our sincere gratitude is always expressed to all the host families for taking care of our students' daily lives. Also, we are so grateful to two teachers, Nancy and Racquel for their studious care to our students. And the foremost gratitude goes to the ELI staffs who were in charge of Komazawa students this year. They are Mr.Mike Weiss as Director in ELI, Ms. Susan Curtis as a Head Teacher, Ms. Alinka Pietraszko as a Home-stay Coordinator and Ms. Linda Fung as a Program Coordinator.

We are greatly indebted to you for your warmest help to us. And we truly appreciate your many courtesies and your friendship. We hope our relationships will continue forever.
